The bytes that cross between our proxies and your clients — request bodies, response bodies, TLS overhead, headers, all of it. Each billing period we total client-ingress and client-egress separately and bill whichever is larger; we never add the two together. Traffic between our proxies and your origin is always free.
Yes. In the dashboard you can set a hard cap (we serve 429 once you hit it) or a soft cap (we email you, but keep serving). Both default to your monthly bucket on Free, and to no cap on Standard — flip them whenever.
